Gout Symptoms

Saturday I had a whopper meal at Burger King, six hours later I noticed the slight gout symptoms in my knee. I took my dose of ibuprofen - 4 200mg pills. Sunday I still had some discomfort in my left knee and I took 2 ibuprofen pills during the day and 2 more at night. I also drank 2 glasses of apple cider vinegar with water to alkalize my body. Today gout symptoms are gone and I'll continue to drink my apple cider vinegar water through out the day.

Gout Symptoms

Crap, I have gout this week. Not as bad as usual, but enough to be in pain. My gout symptoms this time is a dull throbbing pain that started in my ankles and not my big toe. The pain traveled up into my left knee and is double in size. I've been drinking baking soda and water 2-3 times per day because I'm trying to get my body more alkaline. Been reading that when your body is in a alkaline state rather than a acidic state illness and health problems can be eliminated. The most annoying gout symptom I get is when the pain is under my foot, it's tender when I massage it but when I stand up, 185 lbs of my body weight pressing down on it, intense pain. Going to follow the recomendation on the baking soda box and drink it every 2 hours to really alkalize my body.

Gout Symptoms

I've had gout for 10 years now and my attacks are recurring, every year I get 2 to 3 of them. The treatment I use is plain old ibuprofen, as soon as I feel the beginnings of a dull throb I immediately take 3-4 pills than 4-5 hours later I pop another 2 (no the best for your liver but gout symptoms and pain is worst in my opinion). I use advil or generic pills from Costco. Also I drink 2 glasses of water to flush out excessive uric acids.

A few days later I do a 2 day OJ or lemon juice fast to detox my liver from the massive doses of ibuprofen. Works for me so I'm happy. I know my gout attacks are diet related and preventable but you have to be a bunny rabbit to be on a purine free diet
